It has been 6 months and 1 day since my husband's last CLI and 18 month since getting his CO card. This card started out at $300 in January 2015, the first card in my husband's rebuild. With credit steps and luv button it was up to $6,300. He just got a CLI to $9300. That amount of credit was just unimaginable to us 18 months ago. Now we have almost 100k across all cards, and it is all thanks to Capital One giving us a chance (and maybe a bit of effort on my part).
Next we started a chat to request an upgrade. The card started as a platinum with AF and was upgraded to QS1, but every time he asked for a card with no annual fee, he was told there were no offers on the card. Finally, this time there was an offer, and it is now a regular Quicksilver.
As a data point, he had an old Capital One charge off. We don't even remember how much it was or when it was, because it aged off reports years ago before we were checking reports. It had to be a small amount originally. Capital One has never mentioned it to him.
Congrats !!!
