I had been thinking that my Cap1 love button was broken as it wasn't functioning properly on my mobile phone, but then I did the request on my pc and I got the "rep is reviewing, blah blah blah" message. After that I read about people emailing the EO, so I fired an email off. Next day I missed a call from Cap1, turns out my alert on one of the bureaus is still in effect. Called back and they made a note, but said I'd have resubmit the request. They called back today, the rep verified my info, and said she saw an increase was granted... $1000 CLI. Not bad for a TL that I thought was just gonna stay toy at $750 (it's still low, but now I have a bit more hope that the card will eventually grow). Now I'm debating whether to call the EO and try and recon for a higher credit line anyway, since they'll hopefully respond to the email. What do you all think?

called EO office today as I received my new replacement card (old was set to expire) and spoke to a nice lady. Told her I had just gotten an increase of $1k thru LUV button after a verification callback, but that I was traveling towards the end of June and needed a bigger limit for my trip, something along the lines of what AmEx and discover were granting me ($8k and $6.9k respectively). She said she'd be happy to submit my request, it'd be a manual review SP, and would I be ok to accept a counter should they not be able to meet the $6k line I requested. I said sure, and she completed my request, letting me know that they typically take 7-10 days to respond, but they do have a backlog so to be patient. I told her that was not a problem and thanked her for her help. She was a real nice lady, have to mention that! Let's see where this takes us.

I did the same thing yesterday. I got a steps CLI on my QS1 from $1000>$1500 in April and called yesterday asking for a $10k limit, but would take a counteroffer if necessary. The gentleman I spoke to was very nice...man, I wish all reps were that nice! I was told I'd get something in the mail in 7-10 days.

So I got a reply back from the UW after EO submitted my review request. Cannot have a CLI because there had been a recent change in my account (talking about the $1k CLI I got thru luv button). No counter, just a no can do. I called the EO back and the young lady said she only saw that a letter had been sent out, but didn't have the UW's actual notes. Bummer, but life goes on.
Same thing happened to me today, i also talked to them, i am waiting on my 7-10 days descision, i am sure we are going to have a great results
