Last month was the final month for my Cap 1 credit steps program. They increased my card from $300 to $2300. I was pretty excited about that. I am dragging the DW along on my credit rebuilding journey as she has very little credit and only one baddie (Care Credit) that we are paying off in a couple of months (hopefully we can get a PFD). Anyway, today is her credit steps graduation day and Capital One gave her a gift. She went from $300 to $3300! I have been teaching her about the proper use of credit cards (from the info I have learned right here), and it's paying off. The last of my baddies will fall off in 2015, and if she can get a PFD from Care Credit, her report will be clean as well. We both also have Cap 1 MC Platinum Rewards cards (both also in credit steps due to graduate in May). Things are looking up for us!
I am in the credit steps as well, how did you manage your payments to get such a large increase? I would like to see an increase like you got when mine is up. I've only had the card for 2 months now but I make multiple payments a month.
Congratulations to the both of you!
Keep both your credit and your body in top shape!
Congrats to you and your DW!

Congrats op. Keep up the good work and good things will happen. To your question zagoose9. Keep doing what you are doing. Large usage. Multiple payments. And you will be rewarded. Good luck.
Congratulations!
