Re: Capital One EO

EO use for CLI's is abuse of the EO. I'm sure they will change their number again.

EO for recon is more acceptable than for general purposes.

Re: Capital One EO

Donny10, as it is now, you have to email them, you can't call them directly anymore.  They call you back with a personal pin number and extension.  I would think if they didn't want to help with a CLI they wouldn't call back.  Cap One's system I think works well.  Just my thought on this.  I think that is there way of screening the requests for the EO.

Re: Capital One EO

Don't lecture me about the Cap1 EO. I am very familiar how they operate. It is my opinion that calling the EO for CLI's is abuse. They do have a direct line to the EO, you just don't know it. Cap1 EO is very kind. But bugging them for a few hundred dollar CLI is foolishness.

Re: Capital One EO

CONGRATULATIONS HOPPY! You've been working hard while getting through your personal stuff. You took the right course IMO without contacting EO with frivolous requests, you needed to get back and you did it without abusing the system.

Re: Capital One EO

Congrats. I'm going through the same thing (sorta) and am hopeful that my second escalation will be even more fruitful than the last one two years ago.

I read an interview with the co-founder and CEO of Capital One earlier this week on Bloomberg. Doesn't seem like he's likely to quit or change his name anytime soon, despite what some people think. Smiley Happy

Best wishes on your credit journey!

Nice job!  How do you contact the EO?

Do a google search and it should come up with the email address.

Thanks for the info. Congrats
