Donny10, as it is now, you have to email them, you can't call them directly anymore. They call you back with a personal pin number and extension. I would think if they didn't want to help with a CLI they wouldn't call back. Cap One's system I think works well. Just my thought on this. I think that is there way of screening the requests for the EO.
It's been really rough for you for sure but you already know that exhileration and relief once you DO turn the corner on things finally and it looks like you're well on your way now so all the best going forward and..........
Congrats! ![]()
Don't lecture me about the Cap1 EO. I am very familiar how they operate. It is my opinion that calling the EO for CLI's is abuse. They do have a direct line to the EO, you just don't know it. Cap1 EO is very kind. But bugging them for a few hundred dollar CLI is foolishness.
WOW... Sorry, I didn't mean any disrespect donny10. That wasn't the case for me. I appreciate your advice. Thank you.
CONGRATULATIONS HOPPY! You've been working hard while getting through your personal stuff. You took the right course IMO without contacting EO with frivolous requests, you needed to get back and you did it without abusing the system.
Congrats. I'm going through the same thing (sorta) and am hopeful that my second escalation will be even more fruitful than the last one two years ago.
I read an interview with the co-founder and CEO of Capital One earlier this week on Bloomberg. Doesn't seem like he's likely to quit or change his name anytime soon, despite what some people think.
Best wishes on your credit journey!

Do a google search and it should come up with the email address.
Thanks for the info. Congrats
