I did not request it, but got a $1500 CLI today on one of my Capital One cards. ($4000 to $5500)
Exactly a year ago today, they increased this card from $1000 to $4000 (also not requested).
I got two Capital One cards in Dec 2015 with a $300 limit on each when my credit was real bad. One is a QS1 and the other is a QS. The QS was a different type of card, but they offered a product change about 4 or 5 years ago and I switched it to a QS. I have not been able to PC the QS1 yet.
So I looked at the QS1 to see the last increase date. On 10/31, they increased it from $1450 to $3950, so I'm wondering if they have this on a one year cycle like the QS card to review.
I've heard many people have been limited to 10% increases when they request an increase. I had also thought until last year that many these cards were bucketed and would not likely increase much. The QS card has no annual fee, but the QS card as a $39 annual fee due in December. I may try for another product change or depending on my cards at that point, I may cancel the one with the fee.

Congrats on the increase!
I'm jelly,
I got a giant cli on both my cap 1's this month , QS 1800-2k 200 cli, Savor One 3000-3100 100 cli,
WHEEEEEE
Congratulations on your Cap1 CLI!!
Grats on your move up with Cap-1 ![]()
Congrats on your CLI!

Congrats! That is a huge CLI in the Cap1 world!
I'm not sure how their logic works. Maybe they just give a small increase sometimes rather than hit deny and have to send a letter with reasons. Also not sure what their frequency is on how often you can request a CLI. Maybe 6 months? I heard they like a lot of usage. I like Cap 1 because they helped me start the rebuild. But they are usually low on the increases.

Congratulations on your Capital One Quicksilver CLI!!
