I got the green "cash" card from Capital One about 2 years ago. First it started with a $500 credit limit and about 9 months later they increased it to $3,500 by itself.
The green CapOne card has since transitioned to the Quicksilver card and I went to login to my account today and found a unique message. It basically said that if I answered a few questions I could be eligible for e credit increase...so I went in and put in my income and what I pay for housing expenses and next thing you know my credit line is now a whopping $6,500.
Anyone else ever get this?
I haven't had my Quicksilver One for even a month yet so I have no experience with the auto-luv but congratulations on the CLI!!
The Cash Rewards product was discontinued during 2013. All existing Cash Rewards accounts were transitioned into Quicksilver accounts on Nov 11, 2013. The rewards structure is essentially the same for both cards.
Congrats!

Not True....I had the old platinum version and didn't automatic transition into QS. Had to request it myself by calling the 1-800 number on the back of the card.
Congrats OP!!! The QS is a good catch all card.
Congrats! Thanks for sharing.
congrats

WTG very nicely done! Congrats on your CLI, that's a great bump.
Grats on the CLI ![]()
CONGRATS to you! I too had the Capital One (green card) and it got upgraded to the Quicksilver One card with a CLI all by itself. Capital One has been quite generous to me, but I did have my car loan through them, that I paid off last June.
