Just applied on a whim since I needed a good all-around dining and grocery card. Made sure I was pre-approved and got instantly approved after my application for an $8K SL. My only other card is a Discover It Secured card with 3 months left until it's unsecured. My FICO scores are EXP - 745 EQUI - 750 and TU - 740. Not sure if that helped with the SL or not.

Thank you! Was looking at my biggest spenders and it was a no brainer! It's definitely going to be getting the most use for us as well.
Congrats on your Capital One SavorOne Rewards approval

Very nice, congratulations on your approval!
Congrats!
Knowing nothing about your credit profile other than what's presented here, I can see two factors that Capital One really loves and that would contribute to such a nice approval - low number of cards and low/no recent applications for credit. They want to be your daily driver and don't want to be churned for the bonus, so they really like people who haven't assembled a fleet of cards yet. They are also a bit inquiry-sensitive and often pull older FICO versions / mortgage scores instead of 8. Those things are also very sensitive to inqs and new accounts, so having almost none is good.
Unlike Savor Ones that start with low SLs, you can likely get a nice/sizeable CLI on that one in 3-6 months. I don't use my Savor One nearly as often as I did the first half of last year, but it's still my go-to entertainment card and late night or odd location dining card. Capital One has never declined any of my purchases..event tickets at 3 AM? Sure. Fast food, 3 states away, at midnight? No problemo.

Rebuilding, FICO 8s as of May 2026:
Impressive SL on that card
