I've bought my credit back from the brink a couple of times. I bought a house two years ago after going through a messy and expensive divorce. I have really high utilization right now because of those things and an unexpected family tragedy. My scores are hovering around 600, income around $140k (mortgage payment is about 20% of gross pay).
Back home and back at work, I just plotted out a repayment plan for my existing cards by redoing my budget. I logged in to CO to get my balance on my Quicksilver.
