Was on the Union site, and saw a link to a CC App. I just filled it out for a laugh. Then on the form it asked for my Local #. Put it in, and was approved for $10,000.
Amazed and shocked, my highest limit is a $2000 Kohls Card, and a $500 QS with Cap One,
Also, I am CWA if that makes a difference.
Congrats!!!!
Congrats

Congratulations on your approval! Thanks for sharing. ![]()
Awesome! It's like a Quicksilver card for union members. Looks ten times better than the QS cards though. Congratulations
Congrats!!!
I got a pre approval in the mail last week, applied online & got approved for $300....credit steps, still excited considering my FIco is 582.
Congrats! Thanks for sharing.
I agree, the card has better overall benefits than the QS (lay off, hospital, and disability benefits). The underwriting also seems very liberal. Cap One only pulled EQ, not all 3. That is a first for me.
I am somewhat curious if a person actually has to be in a Union to apply. All it asked for was a Local#, which you can get from a quick Google search, and was an instant decision.
I mean, how can Cap One possibly check that quick.
Any non-union members want to be a Guinea Pig LOL
It does state that you must be a Union member, I would think that it would be fraud to state otherwise. The card will arrive with your Union symbol on it, UAW in my case, so they must have a way of checking because I only entered my local number.
