Capital One Venture Rewards Approval

Long story - Had 2 cap1 cards, Platinum and QS that I had consolidated into 1 (closed Platinum since it was useless rewards wise). Kept the QS since it had a $7.5k CL and have had it for over 5 years now so figured I'd just hold onto it. I have been putting about $20-40 of charges through it a month, at times, not even.

Called today to PC it since I figured I'd rather get the Venture for rewards. (I shop on Hotels.com at times so this card would be great for that.) Senior credit rep on the phone recommended me to app for it instead of PC since I've had the QS/Platinum for awhile and usually they are bucketed. Figured why not? Really didn't wanna do the triple pull but since I've added a few cards, another inq won't really hurt. App went to review since my address wasn't on file so it required verification. I should have left this alone and garden but just couldn't help it!

tl;dr - Approved for Venture Rewards for $30k. 

DPs - 718 eq, 712 ex, 723 tu

inqs - between 4-8 on each one.

Oh wow! I just appd myself back in 8/1 and got instantly approved for 5K. I wanted to Combine my QS Limits and Venture Card and was told No because my QS is a Mastercard and my Venture is a Visa. A little Annoyed..

Thank you! I would either call or chat with them a few times since I was told that I could have PC'd my QS to any card.

Thank you! I would either call or chat with them a few times since I was told that I could have PC'd my QS to any card.

I've called couple of times, maybe the 3rd time is the charm..

They keep on saying they just couldn't transfer limits on two different products meaning visa and mastercard and there is no way for my QS to get out of mastercard even if I PC to another card.
