Curious to know did you prequal from CAP1 website or did you cold app?

I performed a cold app. I started with the pre-qualify and it had only the capital one secured card. My very first card years ago was a capital one platinum with a annual fee and bad APR. I closed it when I could qualify for better cards. So I had a prior relationship with capital one in the past. It only took 6 months with the platinum and I was approved for the Discover IT card and the American Express Blue Cash card. Both of which I still have today.
