Capital One Venture X CLI

I was approved for Venture X month ago for 20K. I tried applying for CLI and instantly approved to 35K. I regret putting maximum desired limit 35K. I was expecting a denial or 10K increase maximum. Well next time I will ask higher amount.

I believe I've seen similar DPs, but I don't recall for sure. I did get a $500 CLI on a $5K SavorOne card  just 3 months in, a 10% increase.

When a SP CLI request is available, it doesn't seem hurt to ask for one early. I requested and got a CLI on my Bread Cashback  Amex on the very day I received and activated the card.

Congratulations on your Venture X CLI @Anonymous! I don't know whether asking for more would have made a difference, but a 75% CLI increase is always a cause for celebration.

I know Capital one has been known for not giving CLI's. I guess I did something right that I got one. That's all I can say.

a first month CLI likely means Cap1 is willing to go as far as you're willing to spend, congrats!!
