Hey everyone. Hope y'all are well. I've been reading about capital one being stingy a lot lately and wanted to post a small success story. I got a $1500 increase today on my quicksilver to $8500 through the soft pull on their app. It's been saying I could get a $750 one for several months, but I wanted to hold off hoping they would do a bit better and they finally did. Honestly thought the card was bucketed for the longest time because they had me stuck at $1000 for over a year after I got it. I guess it was just because my file was thin (still is I suppose), but they've since increased me to $4000, $7000, and now $8500. Maybe one day they'll hook me up with 10k on my quicksilver lol
Some DP: Fico scores are all 790ish. Newest account is a chase freedom flex from September 2020 with a $7500 limit. I'm spending around $400 -$600 a month on the capital one qs card and pay in full. Spend was higher until I got the chase card which I now use for food and groceries. I've been with capital one nearly three years now. I also have the Uber visa but no longer really use it since the cash back was removed. I also have five student loans in good standing (6 years to three years of age on them all). Most inquiries on any report is two right now and no negative history.
Congratulations on the Cap1 CLI!
