Back in 2018 i lost everything including my job my home and my credit. I did not file BK because i couldn't afford to and instead just walked away from everything. Later this year everything will wipe off my reports and i'll have a blank slate again so last year i started trying to rebuild and apply for credit again just so i have a few accounts once my collections and charge offs wipe off. Despite having a defaulted car loan from 2007 and 2 charged off cards from 2018 Capital one pre approved me for a Savor Card, which i accepted. Despite logging in and seeing my old charged off accounts still there, my new Savor card is listed also and I am glad they gave me another chance. I just wanted to post my success with them so others know how forgiving Capital One is even with a crappy history.
I got a 3K limit which is the largest SL i have ever had. My scores are hovering around 640 and data points include 7 collection accounts and 3 charged off balances still reporting on me each month. All of this will wipe off later this year and my score should recover as i will only have my 3 new accounts and a AU account reporting (11 years old) on my reports at that time. Glad i can rebuild with them again despite still owing them and others.
