The Chase AARP has been in my wallet almost 3 years, starting limit 1k, increased to 5k after 9 months (had to get them on phone, no auto). I started thinking about that and it ticked me off that they'd forgot about me.
Today I got them back on the phone and requested a 10k limit. A full 100% increase. They gave it up no fuss. Just a few questions on income and why I wanted a increase.
The card hadn't budged in over 2 years, no auto, no nothing. I run about 1k month through the card, ( I eat out alot, ride alot, etc). No large purchases but many smaller ones throughout the month. Go in couple times a month to PIF. The card has been swiped to death and started to show wear.

Funny, I have nothing on the prequal URL. I keep eyeing the freedom but don' dare app cause of the dumb 5/24 rule. So I can't open a Freedom, but I can get a 5k increase on the AARP??
