As part of my mini app-spree, I pulled the trigger on Chase Amazon Prime card.
They pulled Experian. My Experian FICO 8 is 669 (I am assuming they use FICO 8 but please someone correct me if this is not the case).
I have a couple of $10,000 and $5000 cards. However, I also have some old chargeoffs, which is what's bringing my score down. My utilization is close to 0%.
Approved for $4000 and change.
Congratulations on your approval!
1. You can ask but expect another HP
2. I wouldn't, build history for 6 months and try then.
3. Personally, I'd give it at least three months of history. Expect a HP for it though.
Congrats on the approval.
Congrats on the approval and SL!
As far as other Chase cards, on my Chase Amazon account site I have the ability to check to see if I pre-qualify for other Chase cards.
Question on data points .. how many inq on Experian ?
Good question-- it was actually just 1 inq on Experian at the time of the application.
Because of the old chargeoffs showing up on my Experian, for the last couple of years I tried my best to stay away from anything that had any chance of pulling Experian.
