Logged on to Amazon for Black Friday sales. There was an offer for $250.00 with an application for the Chase Amazon card. Applied and approved for 20k. The only reason I applied was because of a big purchase(PS5). I only paid $220.00 for it. I'll continue to cancel or combine credit cards. Went from 26 to 13. That includes business cards.

I've been seeing that $250 offer pop up every time I'm on Amazon. I'm so tempted but scared of Chase since they were IIB in 2018. Plus I'm 6/24. I may give it a try though just to see what happens.
I don't think Chase has a 5/24 rule anymore. I'm 7/24 and was approved

Did they tell you your full starting limit right away? They used to say $6000 at first and that usually meant it was higher, then when you got the card you'd know your full limit. Wondering if that has changed.
