Haha! While I'm flattered you think that, I'm pretty sure Chase was being generous as it is when I was initially approved. 
They could've started me off at the bare minimum $500, but they didn't. Honestly at the time, I think my scores were mid 600s, my highest CL was $2k, and I only had two CCs. So the fact that they approved me at all is pretty nice. They did stick me with the worst APR though (22.99%), but it's okay because I plan on PIF all the time once my 0% promo runs out.
