Hey y'all!
Back in June, I was approved for a $2,000 SL on a Disney Premier Visa from Chase. I've been using it fairly heavily, and hit the SUB relatively early on. If there is one thing Disney is known for, it's being expensive. I used the card to pay for my Magic Key (Annual Pass) renewal at Disneyland, and that one transaction alone rocketed my utilization from 0% to 55%. I currently have that paid down to about 25-27%. I was going to book a cruise on the Disney Treasure tomorrow when the booking window for my Castaway Club tier opens, and the deposit for the sailing would put my card at around 60-70% utilization. My third statement will cut on 9/20. Has anybody had any luck with reaching out to Chase after the third statement and asking about a CLI? My card will show fairly heavy usage (which should easily explain a need for a CLI), and I haven't seen anything about Chase considering a CLI after 90 days or three statements (have only seen CLIs around 6 months).
Thank you all, and I hope you have a magical rest of your day!
I agree with @Priory_Man. It won't hurt to try other than your feelings if they tell you no being it would only be a SP.

I would try giving them a call and let them know what you are about to do, they may be willing to work with you
You're saying there is a chance that Chase will actually entertain a CLI request at three months instead of automatic denial until 6 months? This gives me hope. <3

I'm going to proxy a question for you since I don't know the answer off the top of my head but I'm sure there are other members here who do.
If denied for requesting a Chase CLI too early does it reset the eligibility clock so they would have to wait another 6 months from the request before asking again?

I agree with @Priory_Man that you should give them a call.
While I have no experience with Chase CLI requests, I have seen many reports lately of people getting soft pull CLI's very fast from Chase with heavy usage.

From what I have read, I don't believe so, the clock just keeps counting up to the original eligibility date.
It happens
And
Update:
While calling in to activate a redemption card I got at Disneyland at my last trip, I also asked about the CLI. The CSR did mention it was a SP, and put it in for me only to comeback rejected. The letter I got overnight mentioned my previous CO w/ Chase, so I called into recon the next day and requested to speak with lending services about it. I mentioned the CLIs I've gotten w/ my other cards and the upcoming large purchases with my Disney Treasure sailing in 2025. The analyst asked me what I was trying to raise the limit to (I was aiming for $4-5K), and put me on hold for about 10 minutes. She came on about halfway through to ask about my refiance w/ NFCU, and put me back on hold for another 10 minutes before coming back on to say they could offer a $1K increase to bring me up to a $3K limit.
I gratefully accepted, and mentioned how I understood Chase wanted to go the more cautious route with how I was young and dumb in the past and was thankful for any amount they could give. So, hey I got a CLI! Since it looks like my previous CO will get all apps auto-declined, should I just call the direct number I have for lending services every time I app for a CLI, or a new card when I get out of the garden (instead of the general recon number)? Has anyone ever heard of a point where Chase will stop auto-declining apps for a previous CO after reestablishing positive credit history with their products?
