@Anonymous wrote:I too just saw that $200 offer on their site. I got approved last Thursday with their $100 offer and was cruising their site to see what rewards were in the 4th quarter when I saw that $200 offer.
Great offer, congrats.
Have you tried calling them to see if you can hop on that offer? I saw the promotion last night on slickdeals.net and sent a secured message to chase customer service, currently waiting to hear back.
I called EO since I don't have the card yet. Without the card in hand, I didn't yet have an internet account with them so I couldn't SM them. CSR referred me to EO who was great, 2 minute deal, signed up for the $200!! ![]()
Congrats

got instantly approve with $1,500! with APR of 22.99%.
oh well, worth a shot I guess
Question, should I call backdoor(credit analyst?) and ask them to increase(match) my credit limit? (I got Amazon visa too)
Or is it possible to do it by secured message?
CONGRATS!
Mind sharing some of your personal info?
Income?
Current Utilization?
Scores?
Inquiries?
Im thinking about applying for the card but worried that Ill get denied due to having only 1 year of credit history and an approval on a new card just in August.
Sure! income is around $25k, utilization is around 10% ~ 15%
Scores, you can see it on my signature.
inquiries: also see my signature! + around 3 inquiries for CLI and other things. Around 10 inquiries on TU.
that's strange, how many cards do you have? my credit history is less than 1 year...
btw I carry no balance. ever.
Thanks for your reply!....
I have a total of 8 credit cards and a total of 9 inquiries in the last year on my Experian and Transunion report.
Im really itching to apply but im also in the process of closing on a home. Hopefully that will be done this week and I can go apply for the freedom!
Good luck! ![]()
I was approved for Chase Freedom last Monday. I emailed them via the secure message and they said once I reach the 500, just to email them back or call customer service and they will add the extra 10,000 UR points to my account.
Since this was my first interaction with Chase (aside from apply for the Freedom), I must say I'm very impressed that they are honoring the $200 back offer for customers who have had their cards less than 90 days.

Congratulations. A recon with Chase will be an additional hp
If a person tries to recon the initial limit, do they pull a different credit report from another bureau?
They come right out and say if the initial credit limit isn't enough, to ask the CSR about it when you call to activate your card...
Will give it a try, Thanks for the info!
