So, I initially wanted a 5% cash back card a month ago with a nice 0% APR since my AMEX BCE apr will jump up to 15.24% at the end of December.
I initially was going to ap for the Discover IT Card, but wanted another card with more acceptance so I decided to keep an eye out for a Chase card.
Chase gave me a targeted offer in the mail for Freedom with 0% APR until March 2015, glad I took the bait because I applied online with an INSTANT approval and a new tradeline with $4000 CL. Not bad for a college student
Unfortunately, it didn't come with a sign up bonus (aka spend $500 to get $150 cash back) but I'm happy I have time to pay off my balance transfer ($3.4 K).
UPDATE:
I called CS after activating my card. She said since I'm a new member, my card was automatically eligible for the $200 promo. Awesome
Congrats ..
I would send a secured message requesting the $200.00 sign up bonus after 500.00 spend. I was able to get it this way.
Good luck
Congrats! Thanks for sharing.

I would definitely do this as well. I had success doing this with the $300 freedom promotion they had a couple years ago. Congrats on the card though, great card to have!
congrats
Thank you everyone, I couldn't have done it without the useful knowledge and credit tips y'all discuss on this forum. The information I've gained is truely invaluable.
Ok, I'll give Chase a call and see what they can give me. I'll keep y'all posted
