Chase Freedom

Well i applied for the chase Freedom card and got the 7-10 days and called the backdoor number and he said i was denied for not much credit history and a said he see's i had judgement that has been paid in full (which was like 4-5 year ago).  He put me on hold quiet a few times and asked me about my housing rent and employment. And he came back one time asked me if i knew what New England was?????   I was like no i don't think?  I am still confused what he meant by this, maybe one of you guys know?.

Well finnaly he said i was approved for $500 which is the lowest but being i got approved for Amex Blue cash card few days early with 2k limit i am ok with small limit on this card.  Really just only applied for this card because of the $200 dollar rewards after $500 is spent in first 3 months.

Now i am going to start gardening. No more Credit pulls for me and hoping i can reach 760+ by time all my inquirys come off.

Congrats!  I just picked up this card the other day as well.  Not sure what he meant by the "New England" comment..

Re: Chase Freedom

Yeah New England comment kinda through me off.  I have not pulled my credit report in awhile but have been checking creditkarma and my Fico score through my discover it card and it has been going up.

i almost didn't apply for it but was hard knowing i will be spending $500 within next 3 months and knowing i could get $200 for it.

Have you pulled a report lately?  I don't see why he would ask you about anything other than what would be on your report.  I don't think you is asking about your past travel plans.

Maybe a collection that you are unaware of.
