Chase Sapphire Reserve - Approved

I am running a balance so wasn't sure if I should apply. Woke up and said Go For It! Instantly approved for $10,800 and they pulled Experian. I don't know my internal chase credit score (will update this thread when I get it in the mail). My Experian Fico 8 is 692 right now (running a balance on a few cards). Will be paid to zero this month. When I am playing the utilization game, my EX is 736. No baddies anymore as I finally have a clean report on EX as of a few months ago. This is my highest limit card yet!

Last inquiry was in May of this year for my auto lease. Total of 9 inquiries on EX Last time I applied for a CC was in July of 2021 and I received a CFU ($1200 CL) AMEX Gold (NPSL) and a Citi Custom Cash ($5100) all in that month. 

Let me know if I missed anything! This forum has been heaven sent for the clean up of my credit to having a mortgage and top tier credit cards! I can't say thank you enough!

Agreed! I really thought I should have waited to get my utilization down to bring my score higher but I went for it. Maybe my income helped? I'm at 190,000 and I have taken great care of my CFU I got from them over a year ago although I wish it would grow faster.

Lost 1 point due to the inquiry this morning and 3 of my now 10 inquiries will be dropping off in October. Just want to provide as much data points as possible.

Congrats.. Chase doesn't care a huge amount about scores as long as your reports are clean and applier house is in order and one is under 5/24 they need to continue to grow their client base is their goal.

Great point! That is exactly why I wanted to post all my data because I feel some people wouldn't even think of applying with a score under 700.
