In a previous post I described getting approved for a $6k Chase Sapphire after a $5k chargeoff in 2015 of which I paid in full. I was denied multiple times prior and after months of rebuilding I tried again and got it! A few months later I asked for a CLI and they gave it to me bringing me up to $12k.
With all of the positivity happening with my credit and approvals I went for another Chase card via their Southwest offering. I was approved immediately at a SL of $10,800. Since I didn't need that much for the flights I purchase and payoff I transferred $9k of the approved SL to my Sapphire bringing me to $21k!
This post is just to tell people that Chase does forgive if you pay off and make strides towards bettering your credit. Once you're back in payoff monthly and try to keep balances low and they will give you more. Keep at it if you're working on rebuilding, its so worth it!

@Jujub3ans Super Congrats on your Chase Southwest $10,800 approval! ![]()
Nice move to boost your Chase Sapphire to 21k. You can always circle back
in 6 months or so to request a CLI on your new Southwest card. Congrats again! ![]()
Congratulations on your approval!

Congrats on the approvals!!

Congratulations!! 🎊
The last time my Chase account had offers, I chose my Marriott Bonvoy card and was give an SL of $5K. Hopefully I will see some more SP offers in the summer. My goal card is Chase Saph. Preferred. My Marriott account will be 6 months old come May 16th and I am really hoping for a CLI. How long did you have your card before seeing a CLI?
Congratulations on your Chase Southwest approval!
Congrats on your approval!
