I believe you can bypass the 5/24 on Amazon, United and Southwest (personal cards only)  ..YMMV!

Someone mentioned about overturning 5/24 on "Core" cards .. I am pretty sure that is NOT possible,

without Green/Black Star Pre-Approvals or "In branch personal banker Pre-Approvals".

As far as what I said,  "Please forgive me, I am a bad gardener" JK

Could have been my charm? (I seriously doubt that)

I threatened to throw a Hissy fit on myFICO forums and close all my Chase accounts/Cards

In all seriousness,  I called and expected to be "GRILLED" by a rep having a bad hair day!

Actually a very nice Lady came on the phone, I asked "Could you reconsider my application?" (nothing fancy / nothing else)

She said, "sure .. we can take a look" and asked; "Income, SS# and Text to phone" .. said you will get a decision soon.

Also said that "WE" would take a look at your accounts & history. ... I said "Please Do!"

That was about it. I just let them work on it, logged in and noticed the United account had populated on Chase.

Something to note;

  I do have a long history with Chase .. Several other CC's and a fairly large dollar amount on deposit.
