I recently started my credit journey as I turned 18 in December 2013. I have always been an authorized user on most of my parents credit cards (American Express, Barclay, Capital One, Chase, Citi, GE Capital Bank) since I was 15.
Below is my credit journey so far! I am excited at how far I have progressed in less than 11 months. I plan to garden for at least a year before I do anything else and apply for more cards. Is there any other cards that anyone would recommend that I apply for then? I checked my Experian score today and it is at 721 which is where it has been since I began my journey.

Great start! Congrats!
Congrats. my opinion only. i think you should join me in the garden for about a year. you will see your scores go thru the roof. let the current cards you have grow. then you can go for even bigger cards. remember our slogan. its a marathon not a sprint. good luck. ![]()
No I didn't use my parents income I used mine.
I am a full time college student and also on my parents payroll, they own their own business. I have "worked" there since I was 15... or at least been on the payroll. ![]()
congrats
