Chase app question...

My boyfriend recently applied for the Chase Freedom on 4/10. He had a prequalified offer pop up for him on the Chase site. However, it's now the 25th, and the automated status line keeps saying that it's under review, and a letter will be sent out notifying him of a decision. He's tried calling once, and was told the same thing. Anyone know what's going on? Anyone had a similar experience?

Call asap. If 30 days pass before verification complete.  He must apply again. Ask for verification dept nthen ask what they need from you. Fax it asap mor send certified mail. Just went thru 2 weeks of nonsense with chase.

He tried calling again last night to get an updated status on his app. They told them that it's still pending. And, it could take up to 30 days. We got that last time, too. So, I don't know what's going on.

He called in, answered a few questions, and was approved for 3,500.
