Citi AAdvantage Platinum Select approved - 50K mile offer

I just got approved for the Citi AAdvantage Plat Select.  I have gotten several mailers with a 50K mile offer over that past couple of months.  I have been trying to stay in the garden, but my curiosity got the best of me tonight, so I applied for the hell of it.  I have < 4 inq on all of my CR's.    I had thought that Citi pulled EQ in my area, and that is my highest score right now at 630, and I only have 1 inq on that report.  My util is high right now at 57%, so I wasn't sure how it would go.

I was kinda suprised that I was approved for a $3000 SL.  It's an in with Citi, so I'm happy to establish some history with them.  They pulled EX to my surprise, which was 627.  My income is 68K, so I imagine that if you have a lower FICO it helps to have a higher income to get approved.

Now I really have to lock myself in the garden.  I have to wait until December 2017 for my scores to increase and to clear 5/24 so I can apply for the CSR.  Smiley Happy
