Opened my first Citi Card back in April to take advantage of the 0% for 15 months to buy a washer and dryer. Was approved originally for $5,200.
Decided to ask for a CLI after the 90 day mark and had the soft pull language. Was instantly approved for $8,200. A $3,000 increase, not bad at all.
I might decide to close my Discover card which has been stuck at $1,500 for the last 2 years and refuses to give an increase. Yet, I can constantly get increases from every single other card including a new one...
Congrats !
Congratulations on your CLI!!!
Congratulations on your Citi CLI!
Congratulations on your Increase!!!
Congrats on the CLI with Citi
You may want to sock drawer the Discover versus close. Use it every other month for a tank of gas or something. In the long run, it will help your score and AAoA
Congratulations on your increase! I've had the same experience. Citi has been generous to me (grew from $8,500 to $13k), while I'm stuck at $2,600 with Discover. But I won't close my Discover card since it still serves it's purpose for me. You can always get a new Discover, and then combine later and keep the older card.
Congratulations on your CLI!!
