Citi Costco - APPROVED!!

I apped for Citi Costco 3 days ago and got the "7-10 day Review" message. :{  This made me nervous as I had apped a little over 6 months ago and got the same message and was denied.   My scores have gone up significantly since my last app with them and I was just recently approved for Discover IT and Walmart MC in November & December.

I had been checking consistently the pre-qual site on Citi and it had kept saying there were no pre-qual offers for me for the last several months. I tried again 3 days ago and FINALLY got several pre-qual offers from them and decided to pull the trigger and submitted the app for Costco card since I have had my eye on that for a long time. I held my breath while it was processing and was disappointed when I saw the "needs processing" message. I got an immediate alert from Experian that they pulled my report & was also bummed that they pulled that one as it had the most inquiries on it 8 of all my reports (6 inq's that were from auto loan apps on 2 separate days a few months ago). 

I called the next morning to inquire about the processing and CSR really kind and had said that it looked like they needed to verify a few more things but that would take a few days and they would either call, send a letter or i could check the status online in a few days. I posted in Applications forum and a few other members mentioned they were approved after waiting the 7-10 days for processing time so I was keeping my fingers crossed it would yield favorable results.

I decided to check status today just to see if anything popped up and it said APPROVED!!!!

SL $7,000!!!

So happy that it was a positive outcome!!! - would have been bummed had it been denied and a HP on my report with the most inquiries. :{

Into the garden for me now with the 3 new lines of credit...... Will work on paying off my other cards and growing these other new lines.
