Every 6 months I apply for a CLI from various credit card companies like Capital One, Discover, Chase and Chevron VISA. Today I clicked on the Request Credit Line Increase and Citi Costco card went from $7,500 to $9,000. I pay off this card every month but had a $2,000 balance on it in December then paid that off in Janaury.
I had a foreclosure in January 2012. One derogatory that dropped off last month. I bought a new 2018 Ford Escape Titanium in February 2018 which dropped my FICO score 20 points 768>748 but it is slowly coming back up again. I believe my Foreclosure drops after 2019.
Discover was my primary card but they are stingy on CLIs with me . . . $300 every 6 months so guess which card I will heavily use? Yes, my Citi Costco card. Never late on my Discover card and used it heavily and they treat me with stingy CLIs?
