Citi DC cli question

Citi Double Cash question

Near sixth month statement close last week, citi changed the wording in my dash for credit limit increases to this:

"It's easy to find out if you qualify for a credit limit increase. A credit bureau report will not be requested and you will receive an instant decision."

Recieved an increase of 1500.

My 6th statement just cut and the same verbage still appears.  Is this another invite to request another cli or does it just stay like this forever?

If so, when to request another cli? 6 months between?

Thanks

Re: Citi DC cli question

It stays the same after a granted increase. You cannot get another sp increase for six months though.

So why do you feel like answering at all? No wonder you have 16k posts... Quantity over quality seems to be the going rate on this board.

OP: this card has only been on the market for some 6 months. How would anybody know what ecactly you can do with it? As long as the system doesn't ask for your consent for them to pull your credit you can always try to get an increase - it won't hurt. Alternatively you can always ask CS if you have a question. Good luck getting to a call center in the states though ;-) Secured messages (a.k.a. emails through the web interface) usually work good.

I think they meant to say "they don't do business with them", not " dont do business with them".

Re: Citi DC cli question

which is just as useless as any other "congrats" here.

However, answering a question with "I don't do business with them and can't tell you anything" doesn't qualify as an answer in my books. I can add this line to ANY post here and would've contributed zilch to the forum.

Re: Citi DC cli question

This is interesting. I haven't had my card for 6 months yet (around 5, I think), and I have that verbiage. Could I request an increase? Or should I wait for the actual six month mark?

Re: Citi DC cli question

@julianb,
Ok.

@Petrovius
As long as it says that, go ahead. You lose nothing and can possibly gain an early increase. I received a $600 soft a little less than 6 months from account opening on TYP.
