Citi, however.. Their site did give me the option. I requested a limit double from $4600 to $9200. they asked for my Income and my Rent/Morgage amount. I was then presented with the "Your request has been submitted, it will be reviewed within 24 hours. We will contact you within 7-10 days with our decision". I figured that was going to end in a denial, or at the very least, a counter.
I logged into my account this morning, and I see that I was indeed approved for the full $9,200! Unfortunately, I also received a notice from myFico that a new hard pull was put on my Experian report, which sort of kills my gardening efforts.. That being said, I think I am okay with a $4,600 increase in exchange for an HP.
Congrats! on a nice CLI despite the HP. I took a lesser amount for a SP from Citi on my CDP and then PC over to the Double Cash at the 1 year mark.
