Maybe because it was my BIrthday Jan 13th?? Made a Message regarding my 3 App Approval Spree earlier, but need to add this little morsel. I applied in November 2015 for a Citi Double Cash Back Card and was declined. E-mailed the EO Office (Richard Corbat) and a lady from his office told me if I waited until after the first of the year she couldn''t see any reason that they wouldn't approve me. Was declined for "Limited History".
As mentioned this week was: PenFed Promise ($3000), Walmart Mastercard ($1200), and Quicksilver Signature Visa ($3000).
Tonight I was doping some research and looked at my Equifax and Transunion success pulls and know that Citi pulls EQ in my area. So, I pulled the trigger and applied.
The spinning wheel kept spinning and I thought "Great" here comes the 7 - 10 day message. But, low and behold the screen went to "You've Been Approved"!!!
Citi Double Cash Back Card ($3100)!!
I guess the lady from the E.O. Office wasn't kidding when she said to wait until the New Year and you'd be approved.
OK, I've said it before and I'm going to say it again, but this time I mean it because I have no more room on my excel sheet for anymore cards, I'M GOING TO GARDEN UNTIL NEXT YEAR PLUS!! I promise this time.
