Citi Double World Elite

I got approved for citi double cash wth 2000$ limit and the card came with World Elite Mastercard???

How does that even work? I thought the cut off is 5 000$ judging by Visa Signature cards I have. Well first WE MC in my wallet...

Nope, World Elite is all over the map. Many start at $5,000 or $2,000, but people have gotten World Elite cards with much less (Capital One BuyPower especially).

Is Citi known to be stingent with their credit limits? My lowest limit by quite a bit....

Yes, with this card. I had to request a CLI  from them right after my approval. It was another HP but well worth it, imo.
