Well, they decreased my APR from 22.99 to 16.99% and gave me a CLI of $2500, for my 1st 10k card!
I figured I would continue rolling the dice, and since I had recently received the pre-selected mailer for 50k miles, I tried and was approved for 5k CL after confirming some details with chat support!
So excited! I doubled my credit in one night. I guess I have done good since I acquired a few baddies 4-5 years ago. Not to mention this is one of the cards I lost during that period! So glad to have my AA MC back
Congrats! and welcome to the 10k club
Congratulations! Gotta feel good to get yourself in the 10k club.
It looks like I was incorrect about the HP on my Credit Report. BofA didnt HP for my CLI, it was CBNA (Citi card after thinking about it lol) that did a HP on ALL 3 agencies. I assume thats because my past history with them. So at the time of app, only 1 inquiry (Verizon) was on 1 of the reports.
Re:Amex, I saw about the Delta Amex having no ForEX charges (I personally hate DL, so thats not a good option). Here is hoping the other AMEX cards follow up. I dont think I can qualify for the Plat, and I don't travel enough to justify a $450 AF.
I am not sure if I should go for the 40k CSP after I reach 3k on the Citi AA, or hope the AMEX's come around by then.
Either way, it's a great feeling to have options re: Credit and to be in the 10k club ![]()
