First off many thanks to [REDACTED] for their assistance getting this card. Finally got in the TYP game with Citi Premier instant approval earlier today with a SL of $7300 which is kind of a weird number and lower than my usual starting limits but I understand that's how Citi plays it at the beginning. Hoping a few SP CLIs will fix that to a limit more suitable for travel by next year. For APR believe it was somewhere around 19.49% or so which is of no importance to me but figure some may want to know. As far as I'm aware it was just a single EX pull of 771 used when app was approved.
Overall pretty happy with the result considering this is probably my last app for 2018.
Congrats on the new Citi! When I got this card they only gave me $5k so yours is a nice limit xD
Congrats!

Once I did some searching on the forums on approvals for the Premier I found out it was a nice SL. Considering it's a travel card I'm actually kind of with the limits being approved but as long as Citi keeps the CLIs as SPs I have nothing to really complain about. It'll get there soon enough.
Congrats ! ! !
Congrats Simply!
Congrats on your new Citi Premier Card!
Congrats! Yeah, my SL shocked me at only $3,000. (Plus the fact that my APR was like 25% on it, yet they gave me the Diamond Preferred 18 months earlier with a 12.24% APR when my scores were like 50 points lower.) The bonus categories are awesome on this card since they don't fully overlap with other cards, and they do send out constant additional bonus categories as targeted offers (like 4 bonus TYPs per dollar when paying with PayPal). I like the flexibility of being able to use the TYPs at 1.25x toward revenue airfare, or mixing and matching with all of my other points ecosystems to FlyingBlue or Virgin Atlantic.
