Finally, after nearly two weeks since applying, I got my approval. Super stoked! My application thread, if interested. I finally got the letter in the mail with the reference # needed to call in and finalize. 13 days for the letter, less than 5 minutes on the phone.
$7,500 credit limit. (I am pleased with that as my last three approvals kept getting lower.... AOD $5k fall '21, Shop Your Way MC $4k summer '22, and Cap1 WalMart $3k fall '22.)
I'm not totally sure but I think they only pulled EQ. I live in CA. My EQ and TR reports are flawless with low 800s FICO. My EX has a medical collection and my score is 744.
Income about $160k/yr, mortgage $2k/mo.
I have a citi DC and CC, for probably at least 5 years, both flawless payment history. CC sees decent spend, depending on the quarter. DC not so much since AOD but it used to see lots of spend. Not sure if it matters but I opened a $75k checking/savings account with citibank in late summer/fall of '22 to get the $1,000 bonus after 21 + 60 days. When I got the bonus, instead of pulling my money, I bought a 1 year CD at 4.15%, so I have over $76k with citibank.
Some may not see the Rewards+ as an overly valuable card but I'm at a point where I am pretty happy with my cash back line-up getting no less than 3% CB, often 5%, and even more depending on offers. So, for me, the R+ provides a nice $200 intro bonus, a 10% boost on my linked R+/DC/CC cards, and I think the 10 point roundup is pretty slick (let's just say mrs. ptatohed sends me through the McD drivethru for 99 cent McCafes a lot ).
Overall, I am very happy. It was a long 13 days! lol

Congratulations on the approval
Congrats on the approval!
Wow @ptatohed
that sounds great. I'm happy to hear everything worked out for you with the Citi Rewards + card. Do you have the McDonalds app? I really like it and save a lot of money with it.
Congrats there!
