Congrats. I actually like the card design, but I suppose I shouldn't go for it just based on the design, even though its tempting. 😀

Lol yeah I think it's time we both sat out from the approvals section for a bit. I'm tempted myself to get into the citi ecosystem

The citi ecosystem likes me (x2 core cards and x2 retail cards). They send me offers every month it seems. I don't think I'll be going for anymore citi cards though. Chase on the other hand, I'll be breaking the ice with around mid 2025 on their business side for the Ink(s). Looks like our current and future ecosystem goals are the opposite. 😀

Re: Citi Strata Premier Approval 9.2K

Yeah, but keep in mind I had a new account with the Double Cash in May 2024 and the one before that one was the Abound CU Platinum card back in Aug 2023. So just 2/12. I think that Citi is more sensitive to the last 12 months. At least that is my experience. (I sneaked the AMEX Business Marriott in there last Mar 2024) That did not have a hard pull and does not show as a new account.  Now I am 6/24 and will drop to 4/24 on Jan 27, 2025. I will be waiting till then now. Also, I needed some points for a trip I am taking next April.

Congratulations @SpaceCityCCuser! That's a nice approval. And Citi's points ecosystem is looking more and more compelling these days. Time for a signature update? 😉

Hope you're enjoying the new card, @SpaceCityCCuser .

If I had to get a points card, it'd be this one since it's so young (hasn't been nerfed w/ "refresh") + good SUB. Killer design, too. Cheers
