Comenity CLIs

Hit the luv button on BJs and surprisingly went from 3k to 4k.  Surprisingly because I haven't had 6 actual statements cut.  I have had the card 6 months but I haven't shown usage each month for a statement.  Next I pulled up my wife's Dress Barn which she never uses and she got a $200 CLI on it.  With all that luck I figured what the hell and hit the luv button on Total Rewards and it went from 6.5k to 7.7k and I haven't used it at all in the past 4 months.

Comenity must be in a giving mood!

Re: Comenity CLIs

If you have not seen the Total Rewards Comenity threads, you might want to be careful poking that bear.

Congrats on your CLI's !

You're referring to the rampant Comenity AA?  I couldn't care less if they decide to close them then so be it,.  As I stated I rarely use them.  I would hate to loose BJs simply because I DO like shopping at BJs, but I could easily make the switch over to Sam;s or Costco if need be.

Basically I'm not about to go walking on egg shells for a store card lender like Comenity.  I like BJs but not enough to put up with a lender that's going to shut me down for no reason.

We share the exact attitude and in my case I'd say it's toward any lender that doesn't want my business - exactly why I closed my BoA card. As I've said a bunch the Total Rewards card I liked - not because of the CL or APR, but because it was tied into Caesars and I'm a regular customer of Caesars, so it bugs me they closed it because of that reason only - I know it makes no "credit sense".

My wife has a BJ's card and we shop there a bunch, I have a Sam's Card with a much higher CL, but over all I perfer BJ's (don't have a Cosco account). I'd keep my BJ's accpunt even without the credit card, but I would miss the 10 cents a gal off gas at the pump that's only available with the BJ's credit card.
