While I had gotten completely out of Comenity last year by closing out my AKC card I decided that the 3% on home improvements till 6/30 could not be passed up as I have about 12K in improvements to be completed by 6/30 and only 6K of 3% or better cards currently available, this one will get me an additional 6K in 3% on top of the $100 for $500 in 90. This was the result of a preapproved offer they sent me via email a few weeks ago. 8K SL and the lowest interest at 17.99%, no HP for the approval has shown up. Was not expecting a SP approval an even bigger bonus!
Fico 8 Basic at time of app 797 with EX, 802 on TU and 809 on EQ
3% util on one card
Clean file
2 Inq on EX and 2 on TU in 24 mos, 2 in last 12 months.

Congrats gdale6! I got a mail pre-qual for this card to other day--but probably will pass on it. I have 3 other Comentiy cards already--used to be 4 but Coldwater Creek went out of business. Their cards used to grow pretty good--but since the pandemic they've cut their max allowed CLs on the Visa/MCs and won't grant me any more increases.
