So I received a Commerce Bank pre-approval offer in the mail today for their "Special Connections Reward" card. Was not familiar with the bank, but it seems they are not some fly by night credit gouging bank. Their offer to me was 18 months with 0% interest on balance transfers and purchases. It carries a 14.24% interest rate after the promo period. Of course the got-ya is the 5% transfer fee.
I don't have the need for the BT option, but I do have a few purchases planned that could sit out a few months interest free. So I took the plunge and clicked through their pre-approval application.
Instant approval for $8K.
Not to bad..... Good luck out there... I am confident that I am not the only one that received this offer.
Congrats on the approval!
Received their offers for two years at 12.24% then 14.24%. Did not apply because to earn rewards they set it up so I had to carry a balance and pay interest. Also, the minimum interest was $2.50 per month which offset the 3x rewards they were giving me on the interest I was paying. Looked up their customer service record and called them. It was unimpressive. Hope you have better results. Located in Kansas City Missouri. Bank rating for FDIC purposes is good.
Weird in Franklin, TN.. Not a big bank from what I see... I live In Nashille next door to them, think I might of heard of them.. Live in TN?
Edit: Probably just picked up local branch via googe, appears they are based out of somewhere else.

Grats on your new Commerce Bank card
Congratulations!
Congrats!
They're actually a fairly prevalent bank in Kansas and Missouri, where I used to live, and some of the surrounding states. I actually used to bank with them, back when my scores were somewhere in the 500s and I couldn't get a credit card not issued by First Premier. As banks go, they're not bad.
