Commerce Bank Whitetails Unlimted Visa Rewards Approval $15k SL!

Hi all,

Was looking for some utli padding so went back to Commerce Bank. I currently have the Save the Children Rewards Visa from last year with a $13k CL and was looking for another card that would provide some incentive to actually give it a swipe down the road lol! So browsed through a post that had a complete listing of co-branded commerce bank products and settled on the Whitetails Unlimited Visa Rewards.

Filled in the app and hit the button to an instant approval! $15,000 SL! Wasn't even expecting an instant approval as my last app went to review for 5 days before an approval was even made. As mentioned a bare bones no frills type card 1.99 Apr for first 6 months same on BT's. Card will strickly help as a utilization buffer moving forward.

Data points:

EQ pull - Fico 8 718 - 5 over 90 day Late Student Loans Reporting

Accounts/Inquiries - Too many to name/ Inquiries 4/6  16/12 (inquiries are waaaaaaay overated) 19 before the app now 20 reporting.

Utili - 6% reporting - 8 acounts reporting balances

Income - High 5 figures

Nice approval suprised it was instant as well..  Have save the children as well.. How much have you thrown through save the children card if you don't mind me asking?

I have thrown them around $700-800 total spend since I got the card around July last year. I really wanted to do more especially around the holiday season as it was such a good cause to donate but, so many other cards needed my attention for SUB's, bonuses, etc that they didn't quite get more spend.

Thanks.. Quite honestly I probably have only put 300-400 on mine..  Sounds so easy to throw a larger purchage on it, but with cards that give alot better rewards the reality is not so simple of doing so ..

I hear ya CC. I got to many cards with rewards to name. That’s why now at this stage of the game just want to try and add some easy TL for buffering. Synovus is definitely on my list but must take a road trip to a branch to make that happen. 😉
