Applied and was approved by Congressional for 35.5k @ 3.99 last week for a used auto loan. In the approval I posted for that someone suggested looking at their LOC and low rate Visa (8.4%). Went ahead and put an app in on each. Got a call this morning with approvals on both. 10k @ 8.4% on their Visa Platinum Rate Saver and 20k approval on their Reserve LOC @ 11.9%. The Visa is now my lowest rate card. I have a feeling I probably could have asked for a bit more on the Visa CL on my app. Called back and spoke with the UW that called me this morning and she suggested giving it 3 to 6 months to establish some history with them and then ask for a CLI to match the LOC and it would likely be approved. I'm at about 366k in available credit so they definately don't seem to be averse to "too much available credit" like some other CU's. Also don't seem to be new account or INQ sensitive. Another DP everything I dug up on them indicates they are an EQ puller however I didn't have EQ available when I submitted my auto loan app and they instantly pulled TU instead. I'm currently at 766 there and I thing my mortgage lending score is at about 720 (likely what they used). Everything appears to be a manual UW with them but the two UW's I spoke with were very friendly and helpful. They also confirmed one pull is good for 60 days across mulitple products. LOC already showing up in the account and they said about a week for the Visa to show up. So far they have been great to deal with on everything.
Nice loc limit. Did they request docs?
Nice!
Very nice approval rates on the LOC and CC.
You hit a home run here, congrats on your approvals
