i posted prior about credit one wanting me to send in a Numi form before they activated my card. I went to the SS office only to find out they no longer give out Numi forms, they gave me a paper as proff that they no longer issues those forms. I called Credit One to inform them, they said send a copy of my SS card & Drivers License, I sent it, but they claim they never received it. I just Did the prequalify on the website & this comes up. I never used the card, in fact they never activated it, but they claim I owe $100. What to do?

Sounds like they issued you a card- charged the AF/Membership fee- I would call them up or send them something- asking **bleep**- That is ridiculous..
I had major troubles with them a few months ago. I had fraudulent charges that they refused to remove and threatened negative reporting. Their "credit analysts" would call from blocked numbers or a number that was disconnected after the call (something like Google Voice, I guess?) They would also hang up on me if they didn't like my tone or what I was saying. The Consumer Finance Protection Bureau was my best friend during that time. I sumbitted my claim and they took care of the rest. I wish you the best of luck!
I called them & explained the situation and now they say I owe nothing & not to worry. I requested that info in writing. Nothing is on my reports as of today, card never even reported. I'm also worried about the copy SS card & License I sent in the mail, I hope the wrong person has not got ahold of it.

That is awesome. RE: the copy of the SS card and license.. i wouldn't worry. Just make sure you're signed up for Credit Sesame & Karma, and Quizzle and you should be covered regarding alerts to changes in your profile. ![]()
(Or the 3-bureau score watch from here. I'm just saying it because i LOVE this product. There is nothing like it that with each change you get a new fico score most of the time. Love it. lol)
Yet another reason to stay far, FAR away from Credit One.

Amen.
There was a thread a few days ago advocating using Credit One as a "free EX Credit Report" site (apparently they are known to reject those whose scores are >700). This seems like lunacy to me as they are known to be bottom feeders in the credit world. Can you imagine getting stuck with this crappy card and/or a hefty AF just because you wanted a current EX score? Yikes!
OP sorry this happened to you. Good luck on getting this resolved and as Involver states, stay away from these guys.

You wouldn't. The score comes from their "Pre Qualify" application, which is an SP and even if they offered you a card, you would have to actually accept it via application.

Exactly, nobody ever makes you hit the application button.
