Hello,
Been a member forever, but rarely post. Recently was approved for DCU Visa. Got email that states I was approved for $9,700! LoL - I asked for $10,000. And of coure, they asked me to email them POI. I sent paystub that matches income stated on app. This was TWO weeks ago, and still no follow-up email or request to sign docs. I'm guessing underwriting has recinded their offer, due to low income of 40k. I've been a member of DCU for 6 years but this will be my first credit product with them. Any recent expereince with DCU approvals? Does this sound like normal processing time for them? Thanks!

Update: Since it's now been two weeks, I called DCU lending dept. - Offer was approved. However, their underwriting did not like my paystub. I work for a small business that uses Quickbooks payroll, so I guess it didn't look legit enough for them. Now they are also requesting two months of bank statements and an utility bill in my name. I told DCU their no frills credit card was not worth all that trouble, and to terminate the application. I'm debating on keeping my relationship with them open or just moving on. I'm not seeing any advantages here for me.

Since you didn't like the way they handled your application, I don't see why you would keep your relationship open. They don't offer anything that isn't available from hundreds of other credit unions.

Another Update: More DCU Weirdness. Not Surpirsing - Finally Approved!
After I had terminated the application on 10/26, I thought, WTH and I went ahead and uploaded my bank statement that DCU had requested just for the giggles.
I got a weird email stating they could not process the request becuase I had requested the app. to be pulled. I would need to apply again for the same product. As the EQ Inquiry is good for 45 days.
So, I didn't much think about it over the weekend... Then this Monday, I decided to just re-apply and see what happens. This is where the weird stuff comes in.
I provided the exact same details and Income on the Credit Card App. from the pre-approvals page (Although, it was not a pre-approved) and submitted it again.
The first time I apped, they emailed me with a counter offer to my requested $10k and that's when they also requested the POI & Bank Statements. - This time, after I apped. I immediatly got an email that said I was Instantly Approved for the FULL 10k amount. To Call CS to setup account. I called in and answered some security questions, then the Rep. told me the CL of 10k with APR of 14.74. She also said I would receive my card in 7-10. She then asked if I wanted to take out an Auto Loan?? I said, no! - I asked her if it was a done deal or if they needed POI again? She said NO, it was instantly approved! DCU is so freak'n ODD. But, I'll Take It!. Thanks!
I guess it really all depends on the UW you get when your app is manually reviewed. ?
Congrats @Skyrod74 ! Since you were approved. Had the Mods move it in here.
Congrats!! 🚀🚀🚀
Congratulations on your DCU Approval 🎉
