DCU cli request, instead i got a cc!

so i found the CLI button for my dcu cc and i did it. instead of receiving a cli i got a "approved for cc" message at the end. it gave me the option between the platinum (which i already have) and the rewards both with cl of 7500. there was no option to not accept or go back so i chose the rewards. does anyone know if they let you combine cl? i rather have one with 17500 then 2 CCs with them. they are closed for today so im gonna have to wait to call tomorrow

Well now, I think you may have found loophole!!! Apply for a CLI and get a brand new CC.....Congrats!

I don't know if they will let you combine the limits especially if one is a rewards card, but yea why not ask them about it because its the same amount. And also it won't affect you AAoA if you just get the CLI instead of new TL.

i hope they let me! i really didnt want a new account. i dont undestand how this could of happen tho because when i filled out the app it asked for my cc number so how its this possible?

Hmm I'm seeing more and more threads about DCU which makes them seem somewhat disorganized. I hope I don't run into any issues when I join for the free EQ FICO score.

Yea that's weird. I guess all CU's and banks have different methods of operating, but I must say that this one is rather odd for sure. I will call in for sure too!

Also how long did you have the card before this request and what was your util?

Utl is 1% or 2%. Also no HP so far and the cl hasnt changed on my card. When i check the loan status it says they need paystubs but they have mine from last time. I hope they dont need them again
