Congratulations to DS on his approval! Discover offers free Fico8 scores (TU or EX), so when he generates a score, that's one source he can get it from.
Thought I would update this thread.
DS had 4th statement cut on his NFCU Secured $1000 nRewards Visa. Tried the NFCU Prequalify page yesterday and got a message that his Credit was locked and it needed to be unlocked, It isn't!? I thought maybe that is why NFCU still doesn't show a Score for him. Tried the site again and got a 404 error for the page, we tried again today and got the same message so tried an "Incognito" browser window, and this time it worked, pre-approved for all cards! I know it's not too reliable but decided to go ahead and apply for the More Rewards, instant approval for $1300 at 16.99%!
His income is $20,700 and Credit Karma has his Vantage 3.0 score at 687 when app'd score dropped 4 points with the Navy HP to 683.
His current Credit profile is:
NFCU nRewards Secured Visa @$1000 opened Dec 2020
NFCU Self Loan $89/$1000 Opened Dec 2020
Discover Card Unsecured $1500 Opened Apr 2021
NFCU More Rewards AMEX $1300 Opened Apr 2021
Now his plan is to garden and look for that nRewards to Unsecure and CLI the More Rewards in 91/3
