A data point (and small celebration because I'm so proud considering I had no CC and fico8 score of 590 in March 2022):
Today I was able to get a CLI on my Amex BCE.from 35k to 44k (with additional info sent in via bank link). FICO8: 830/835/837
I was stuck at 35k for a year. My score recently jumped up after removing a charge off - I wonder if that helped make the difference. I also used the card more than in previous months and let it report out a higher amount (5k) on my statement. I paid it down to $800 left and requested a CLI for 44k. They wanted access to 3 months of bank accounts, I gave it via the app and within 4 min I had the CLI approval!

March 2022: Fico8 was 790
December 2022: opened Amex Blue Card Everyday, starting limit: 12k, Fico8 Approx 740.
March 2023: CLI requested to 22k - auto approved
July 2023: CLI requested and approved to 28k
Dec 2024: requested and approved to 30k
March 2024: requested and approved to 35k
Been stuck at 35k since March 2024. Scores hovering at all 3 bureaus around 740.
Was finally eligible today so I tried again..first attempt after score jump to 830s and reporting out high balance.
