Had another surgical procedure yesterday, and with all the IV drugs pumped in me,
I was driven home and put in bed.
I really couldn't do much....but I was pretty sure I could apply for credit under sedation :-)
I have been trying my luck with Synchrony again and I tried a pre approval from them sitting in bed. Was the new type of Synch app where it tells you what you are approved for before you finally hit the lets do it button.
In the last 7? weeks I have been approved for a new 5K card and two 3K cards from them. So 11K in new credit.
This card I have had before at 30K and was preapproved for 4.5K.
OK I can live with that. Just gonna pump them up anyway.
So continued the app..had to get the secrect code from my phone and have them verify it was me. No problems. Took the app to its final stage and hit the let er rip button.

So no instant approval like before. OK.
It had a phone number beneath that typing,and Icalled it.
Was shocked when it was picked up in 4 rings by a state side rep who asked me how I was doing<I spared her the details of my day>
So I told her my reference # My personal info and she said..OK
you can go to www.syf.verify.comand it will verify your application.
Now I was heavily sedated but even I knew that I was not going to get a better person,or result, going to that website myself,so I asked if she
would stay on the line while I went to it.
She obliged me. So just then my daughter comes in from school and I yell for her to come upstairs and help me.
She comes up,asks if I am ok,and helps me. Had to put in reference #...something else then hit continue.She goes to the next page and it says I have to hold my
DL next to my face,with no glasses on, and say why I am making this video.
I am beyond laughing now...I have stopped appingafter a two minute hold time before.
Or simply being lazy in many another way, but I made a 7 second video...holding my daughters cell phone while it read the face recognition up to 100%
They accepted my video. Thought that was it.
Nope turn the page...pic of front and back of DL with all corners showing. Got that also.
Finished up some loose ends and told the rep, who was on speaker phone, I was going to hit the final button. She says fine. I hit it and it gives me another phone number to call
with another reference #.
That was my limit.
I said I am not calling another person,would you please just take this new # andsee if you can verify it is me. She said sure. Took about five minutes but she said, "Thanks for holding we are able to offer you 4.5K in credit today" I asked if I could get an email with all this information but she assured me that she could not send any personal or financial info in an email to me. She could read me my credit card # to use it before it came in the mail. Said no. So I thought I was going to have to just post without a pic. Then I remembered I had the old account and went to it on my old computer. Was still there and said would yopu like to add this new card, I did.

They use the TU Vantage 4 score
for apps.
Mine was this apparently
They ask for monthly net income
reported 5.5K
Many new HP's on TU
Lots of new credit
DTI 6%
One more DP Synchrony now has several cards you can see your potential CL at now. I just google searched them.
No HP to look.
